Our Programme

Our programme is based on the Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whaariki and is implemented following observations and assessment of children’s learning which is then recorded in the child’s profile book.

GamesWe believe that children learn best in an environment where they feel happy, secure and comfortable.

Our priorities for learning at Flippers are developing social skills, growing independence, developing literacy and numeracy, being creative and being conscientious about health and sustainability. We actively promote these through our daily programme and record them on a parent app called Seesaw

The teachers take into account the different characteristics and developmental needs of all enrolled children.  We aim to provide an interesting, stimulating and challenging environment where all children will have the opportunity to develop and learn to their full potential.

At Flippers we value a partnership with parents/whanau and we welcome opportunities for you to become fully involved in all aspects of your child’s education.
